The Library's Goal Is To Get Students Excited About Books, Reading, Researching And Learning.
To achieve this goal the Library promotes the

- Checking out of books and magazines
- Listening to books
- Listening to and giving book talks
- Voting for the Goldfinch and Iowa Children's Choice
- Awards
- Looking closely at how the Library is set up
- Looking closely at the Dewey Decimal System
- Looking at internets sites and data bases
- Collaborating with the classroom teachers to
- extend classroom learning
- to give students the tools to make them
- independent learners, example the online
